Bodies of Water (Summer 2025)
Invitation-only workshop | Wednesdays, Marina del Rey
This private, water-based workshop blends writing, science, and stewardship. Participants explore the largest manmade small-craft harbor in the U.S. by paddleboard, with guided prompts rooted in place, memory, and ecological awareness.
Each session includes paddling instruction, silent exploration, an independent writing component, and collaborative reflection. Participants must be strong swimmers and agree to wear flotation devices at all times. We also incorporate light conservation work—collecting trash from the water—as part of our relationship to the environment we’re writing within.
